Expertise in the Products division

The Products division can be divided into three main research and development areas: I. Development of new materials, II. Development of efficient, cost-reduced processes and III. Evaluation of materials and processes.

Classic process engineering for the generation of new materials is mainly used in the field of bio-based and biodegradable plastics. Customer-specific, tailor-made material properties are developed and optimized for film and injection molding applications.

The aim of process development is usually the production of conventional materials with significant cost savings. This involves addressing, for instance, façade and interior paints, insulation materials, leather, etc.

The ecological and economic evaluation of products, processes, services and even companies is carried out within the framework of in-house research, in public projects and on the basis of a direct research contract. A focus lies on classifying the developed products etc. and comparing them with their competitors in the respective industry.
