Vacancies for young researcher with ideas for self-healing materials

Interested early stage researchers and postdocs who are interested in self-healing materials can apply for 15 vacancies at the European research and training network »SHeMat«. Fraunhofer UMSICHT coordinates the 4-year-term project. Applications can be submitted until January 30, 2012 for a starting date on July 2.

The European research and training network SHeMat (Training Network for Self-Healing Materials: from Concepts to Market) intends to bring forward self-healing materials. The aim is the development self-healing materials from different material classes and the market implementation for the most promising material concepts and developments. Thus, 15 European young researches can become part of this European training network. Therefore the network will recruit 11 early stage researchers (ESRs) as well as 4 post-docs (ERs).

The project started in the beginning of 2012 and is co-funded within the scope of the Seventh Framework Program by the European Commission's Marie Curie program.
