Dr.-Ing. Marcus Budt

Dr. Marcus Budt has headed the Industrial Energy Systems department (formerly Energy Systems Engineering) at the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety and Energy Technology UMSICHT since January 2021.

His research focuses on energy efficiency and the transformation of industrial process heat supply, as well as the development, optimization, and pilot testing of energy technologies.
