Are you enthusiastic about science and technology? And you are interested in questions about environmental protection? Then we would like to get to know you at the Fraunhofer Talent School!

This is a workshop format lasting several days for students in grades 9 to 13. Together with scientists from Fraunhofer UMSICHT, you will develop solutions to challenges from the areas of environment and sustainability. Specifically, the topics range from micro plastics to 3D printing to the Internet of Things.

"Join in and lend a hand" is the motto of Girls' Day at Fraunhofer UMSICHT: For one day, female students can try out what everyday life in applied research is like. In addition to practical work in the areas of environmental, safety and energy technology, there is also the opportunity to ask female scientists about their experiences and their way into research.

Internship for pupils

If you are interested in an internship at Fraunhofer UMSICHT, you should send an unsolicited application three months before the planned start. Be sure to mention the desired department!

Unfortunately, the number of internships is limited and internships in the laboratory are only possible from the age of 18.

Fraunhofer Online School

Once a year, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft invites students to the Online School. The focus is on the question of what solutions are currently being researched to meet global challenges such as climate change, lack of raw materials or loss of biodiversity. The program usually includes workshops, lectures and exchange formats.
